Our internship program is designed for individuals who want to do meaningful work, build real-world experience, and expand their network within a community committed to public service, leadership, and global impact.
Interns are not observers—they are contributors. You will work alongside our team to support core initiatives, engage with emerging leaders, and help shape a growing organization at the intersection of leadership and global affairs.

Requirements

Program Management
Responsibilities:
-
Design program curriculum, including research tracks, site visits, on-the-ground logistics, agendas & schedules, etc.

Curate the scholar experience by aligning program logistics with measurable learning outcomes
-
Establish partnerships with U.S. and Vietnamese partner organizations
-
Recruit prospective applicants and track applications
-
Build pre-departure seminar series around Vietnamese history, culture, international relations, etc
Ideal Candidate:
-
Majors: International Relations, Political Science, History, Asia Studies, Public Policy, etc
-
International work or study experience beneficial
-
Skilled in cross-cultural communication, adaptability, teamwork, organization, and concise writing
Marketing
Responsibilities:
-
Develop and execute a multi-platform social media campaign (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) with measurable recruitment targets
-
Create content that builds brand awareness and attracts prospective scholars
-
Track audience growth and engagement metrics to refine outreach strategy
-
Approve organization documents for publication
Ideal Candidate:
-
Background in communications, advertising, PR, or marketing
-
International experience preferred
-
Demonstrated experience growing an audience or executing a campaign
Legal
Responsibilities:
-
Prepare legal framework for operating organization program
-
Review partnership agreements and logistical documents, with attention to cross-border and international compliance considerations

Draft liability forms to ensure smooth program execution
Ideal Candidate:
-
Law student or pre-law undergraduate with legal experience
-
International experience preferred
-
Familiarity with nonprofit or international law
Grant Writing
Responsibilities:
-
Research grant opportunities aligned with CEGL's mission
-
Draft, edit, and format grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting narrative materials
-
Support post-award compliance, including reporting deliverables and budget narrative
Ideal Candidate:
-
Experience with grant writing or sponsorship outreach for a non-profit
-
Detail-oriented, especially with deadlines and funder-specific requirements
-
Comfortable researching unfamiliar funding landscapes independently
-
Interest in international education, diplomacy, or global leadership development a plus

Systems Operations
Events & Outreach
Responsibilities:

Organizing events and plan logistics for fundraising
-
Build relationships with donors
-
Identify, recruit, and coordinate corporate sponsorships

Coordinate with other departments to execute presentations
Ideal Candidate:

Majors in: Business, Communications, Political Science, International Studies, or similar
-
Strong cross-cultural communication skills
-
Good organization and speaking skills
-
Experience in a startup or multinational environment is a plus
