Program Philosophy
Emerging global issues, such as AI governance and rising sea levels, are forcing diplomats to reevaluate their foreign policy. This transition period marks a unique opportunity to reevaluate how we develop global leaders to effectively overcome these existential threats. At CEGL, we identified three core pillars key to developing future leaders: curiosity, humility, and adaptability.
The Diplomatic Immersion Scholars Program is a six-week summer program in Hanoi, Vietnam designed to produce future global leaders. Anchored by our core pillars, this program places scholars in Hanoi's diplomatic context, challenging them to engage with Vietnam’s landscape to refine analysis on emerging issues and redefine diplomatic leadership.
